As with any dermal filler injection, there is no down time. Expect about a one week period of mild swelling and possible slight bruising.
When performed by a qualified injector who is specifically trained in this technique, NSR is performed safely with minimal risks.
Nonsurgical rhinoplasty, also known as a “liquid nose job,” is a cosmetic procedure that uses injectable fillers to reshape the nose without surgery. These fillers are typically composed of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring substance found in the body. The fillers are injected into specific areas of the nose to add volume, reduce bumps or other irregularities, or to create a more symmetrical shape. The effects are immediate, and the results can last anywhere from six months to two years. Nonsurgical rhinoplasty is a much simpler and less expensive option than traditional rhinoplasty surgery, and it carries less risk. That said, it is important to choose an experienced injector for the procedure to ensure that it is done safely and effectively.
Nonsurgical rhinoplast does not affect breathing. If you have a deviated septum or have difficulty breathing through the nose, a surgical rhinoplasty is the best way to achieve improved breathing while improving nasal aesthetics.
